Justine Bateman is growing up not caring what people think.

Bateman, 57, has been a star since she was a teenager, and people have watched her grow up on screen.

But the “Family Ties” star didn’t realize the internet was obsessed with aging her face until she googled herself.

“I needed to Google something to do a little research and remind myself of something that happened when I was famous, so I put my name in, I Googled my name, Justin Bateman, and then autocomplete came up which “looked old,” Bateman said.60 minutes australia. “

She continued, “And I was only 42 at the time…and I was like, ‘What? And I looked at the pictures they had as evidence and I couldn’t see what they were talking about.”

The lecturer later asked Bateman if people could find the aging process “beautiful,” and she replied, “I just don’t give in. I think I look rad. I think my face represents who I am. I love it.”

While she knows it’s possible to do work and procedures to make yourself look younger, Bateman said she enjoys looking at her age.

The writer and director added that she feels sad for the women who use Botox and fillers to prevent wrinkles and believes that they “don’t enjoy life.”

“I feel sad that they’re so distracted from the things they’re supposed to do in life, with this daunting notion that they have to fix their faces before anything else happens,” Bateman admitted.

“Forget your face! That’s what I’m saying. Get rid of the fear that a wrinkle in your face will ruin a bunch of opportunities for you.”

But this does not mean that the actress did not think about it.

“You can definitely look in the mirror and go, ‘Oh, if I just had a lower face-lift, I’m going to get rid of this light-catching skin, and then I can have this procedure where you go into the eyelid,'” Bateman said. Some of the skin and that’s still hanging on now, over the eyelid, you can remove that,” she says.

Bateman’s latest book, The Face: A Square Feet of Skin, also focuses on the topic, with a collection of stories from 47 women about their ideas about aging and the pressure society puts on women to look young.

Although she sometimes wonders what she’ll look like after a little plastic surgery, she doesn’t care.

“Sure, you could do all of that, but even then I would… I feel like I’m going to erase not only all of my power that I have now, but I also like feeling like a different person now than I was when I was 20.” “I love looking in the mirror and seeing this evidence.”
