‘I need to make my health a priority’

Justin Bieber had to suspend the rest of his world tour after suffering a health setback.

The 28-year-old pop star announced in a Tuesday post on his site Instagram story that he had dealt with fatigue while trying to get back on tour, and that the effort “has had a real effect on me.”

“I realized I needed to make my health a priority right now,” he wrote. “So I’ll take a break from touring for now.”

I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and get better.

Earlier in the summer, Bieber postponed a series of concerts in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Toronto and revealed he had been He was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt SyndromeA rare neurological condition. The singer shared a video showing how the virus paralyzed half of his face.

“It is from this virus that attacks my ear nerves and my facial nerves and paralyzes my face.” He said in time. “You see, this eye doesn’t blink. I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril won’t move.”

After a few weeks off, Bieber attempted to return on tour in Europe, but said his body couldn’t keep up with the physical demands of performing.

“I’ll be fine, but I need time to rest and get better,” he adds.

In total, 70 World Justice Tour dates have been canceled through March of next year. Bieber was scheduled to tour Europe and Asia, as well as across South America and Australia.
