Country singer Scotty McCreary kicks fan out of concert for hitting woman

Scotty McCreary is a gentleman.

The country star had just started his first song of the night at the Colorado State Fair last weekend when he allegedly saw a man in the audience hitting a woman, According to the video Shared on social media.

“I just hit a lady, sir!” McCree shouted from the stage after stopping singing and pointing to the crowd. “Absolutely not. Who just hit the lady?”

Then he asked the police and security to intervene.

“Is she okay? Get out of here,” he said as the crowd began booing the man, who was not seen in the footage. He was escorted out of the party.

“Now is the time for this man to get what he wants,” he added.

“Everyone needs to tell the police officer who hit the lady because this is completely unacceptable,” McCreary said.

Then he went back to the show.

“We can confirm that an incident occurred at a Scotty McCreary concert where a man assaulted a woman and the performer stopped the show,” Olga Robak, communications and public outreach director for the Colorado Department of Agriculture, told FOX 21.

“This incident is still under investigation, and we cannot comment further,” she said.
