Bukayo Saka signs a new long-term contract with Arsenal

Bukayo Saka has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new long-term contract with the club.

The former England international’s contract was due to expire next summer, but he is now tied down until 2027 in an agreement worth £15m a year.

Saka has been a pivotal part of Arsenal’s challenge for the Premier League title this season, contributing 14 goals and 11 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.

Saka is a product of Arsenal’s academy, having joined the club at the age of seven and making his debut as a 17-year-old in November 2018.

And he became the latest Arsenal player to commit his long-term future to the club, with teammates Gabriel Martinelli and Aaron Ramsdale also signing new contracts with the club this year.

Arsenal conclude their 2022-23 campaign against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates on Sunday.
