Brad Pitt Doing GQ Photoshoot at Winery Property Amid Legal Battle with Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt invited his friend George Clooney and GQ His French winery staff went for a photoshoot amid his legal battle with Angelina Jolie over ownership.

The interview and accompanying photoshoot took place at Château Miraval, a sprawling villa in Correns, France — where he and Jolie, 49, married 10 years ago in August 2014. The winery is at the center of an ongoing legal battle between the former couple after Jolie sold her half in 2021. (They first bought the property in 2011.)

As part of the legal proceedings related to the winery, Pete and his company Mondo Bongo were accused of turning Chateau Miraval into “their personal piggy bank.”

In a countersuit filed last May, Tenute del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli Group to which Jolie sold a 50% stake, made the claim, alleging that Pitt “caused millions of her money to be spent on projects that benefited him personally, including more than $1 million on renovations to a swimming pool used solely by him.”

At the time, a source familiar with the lawsuit said the claim that Pitt stole from the winery was “ridiculous,” adding that the actor “built Miraval, and his association with it is the main reason for its success.”

Jolie’s legal team said she tried to sell her stake in Miraval back to Pitt, despite objecting to a clause in the nondisclosure agreement and backing down. Her lawyer said in a statement in July that Pitt should “end the fight and finally put their family on a clear path to healing” by dropping his lawsuit.

Jolie and Pitt, whose divorce negotiations are still ongoing after nearly eight years, will both attend the upcoming Venice Film Festival in September. She stars in Pablo Larrain’s drama Mariaand house Wolves It will also be shown at the festival.

Wolves The film will be released in theaters on September 20.
