After more than two weeks of events, it’s time for the closing ceremony in France.

The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris will officially close on Sunday night, but we have some final events to wrap up before the athletes leave the country. Here’s what to look forward to on Sunday at the Olympics, and how to watch the closing ceremony.

The U.S. women’s basketball team is now just one win away from winning an eighth straight gold medal. The U.S. will face France in a rematch of the men’s gold medal game on Sunday afternoon in Paris in one of the final events of the Games. If the Americans can pull off a win, it will mark their 61st consecutive Olympic victory and break a tie with the U.S. men’s program, which won seven straight gold medals from 1936 to 1968.

The USA vs France match will start at 9:30 a.m. ET and can be watched on NBC.

After a thrilling five-set win over Brazil in the semifinals, the U.S. women’s volleyball team will attempt to win its second straight gold medal on Sunday. The Americans, who beat Brazil in straight sets at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo to win their first Olympic tournament, will face Italy in the gold medal match on Sunday. Italy, the top-seeded team at the Games, beat Turkey in straight sets in the semifinal.
